Founders:
Coming from a family of explorers, Daniel Rondon was born in Pantanal and has the nature and culture of the place running through his veins. Graduated in Tourism at Paraná Federal University (UFPR) in 2003, Daniel traveled extensively around Brasil and through the Amazon where he lived for a year. Postgraduate in Environmental Management & Planning at Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS) in 2009, Daniel worked as consultant for tourism businesses and managed a lodge in Pantanal for about 10 years when decided to start his own operations with Bravo Brazil Expeditions in 2006.
Pollianna Thomé was born in the Brazilian southern state Santa Catarina. Has a Tourism degree from Paraná Federal University (UFPR) and a master's degree in Cultural Geography at Mato Groso do Sul Federal University (UFMS). Professional cook, Pollianna teaches tourism and gastronomy since 2008 through numerous universities and is also Founder & CEO of Brasil Food Safaris, a tourism brand operating gastronomic expeditions since 2013 taking travelers to discover different destinations through local traditions and food heritage. Pollianna is co-founder of Bravo Brazil Expeditions and designed an enormous amount of itineraries for diverse trip interests in Pantanal and other destinations in Brazil.
